Lorain National Bank Hires New President and CEO

Cleveland, Ohio (February 15, 2005) We are very pleased to announce the completion of the President and CEO search for Lorain National Bank. An article from Cleveland Crain’s stated: “Mr. Klimas, a Lorain county native who has been president of Huntington’s operations in Northern Ohio since 2001, succeeds James Kidd, who will remain as vice chairman of LNB’s board of directors. Mr. Kidd served a short stint as CEO, taking the position in December 2003, after previously serving for 40 years.

“The opportunity to take the most senior leadership role in a publicly traded company with the history and the opportunity that Lorain National Bank presents is something that I’m really excited about,” said Mr. Klimas.

According to Mr. Herrick, Dan was selected from more than 150 individuals who showed an interest in the position. Mr. Klimas was quoted in the Morning Journal as saying: ''We've got the largest bank in Lorain County with a board of directors and a group of associates who are committed to the community to continue to grow and expand in Lorain County. 'I'm tremendously excited to join an organization with a 100-year heritage of serving clients and the community and eagerly look forward to working with such a fine group of professionals.'' Jim Kidd said, ''Dan is the right person to lead the company into the future. He brings experience and expertise in managing growth businesses in financial and corporate arenas and has been extremely active in the community.''
